Our floral design workshops are designed for students who want to become a florist and/or expert at their own floral DYI projects.

    What We Will Cover

    Through active, hands-on learning experiences in our flower shop at Richmond Hill location, you will be able to practice to produce the perfect floral arrangments design.

    Our program is 11 lessons with a total of 49 hours.

    Each class will give you the introductory knowledge in becoming a florist. Each student will learn how to create floral arrangements through demonstration from an expert florist. At every class, each student will then practice creating their own arrangement.

    Our floral workshops are located at our cozy location and are semi-private lessons.

    The first 10 classes are from Monday to Friday from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

    The 11th class is on a Monday from 5:00 AM to 3:00 pm. *This class is a field trip to wholesalers and suppliers.

    Complimentary tea and chocolate will be provided during the lessons.

    Tuition for all 11 classes is $1,372.00. Total tuition must be paid before the first session.

    CURRICULUM

    • Introduction to flower care.

    • Introduction to floral arranging rules.

    • Creating spray arrangements.

    • Creating classic floral arrangement; 3 styles.

    • Creating classic vase arrangements; 3 styles.

    • Centerpieces for wedding; 3 styles.

    • Wedding hand tied bouquet.

    • Handtied bouquet for walk-in customers.

    • Wrapping flower arrangements.

    • Funeral Cascade.

    • Standing sympathy arrangement; 4 styles.

    • Wreath and heart funeral arrangement.

    • Customized funeral arrangement.

    • Bridal bouquet in different styles, corsages and wrist boutonnieres, headband flowers.

    • Gift basket preparation; 3 styles.

    • Dish garden arrangements, plant care and propagating plants.

    • Field trip to Flower Auction & Wholesalers for flowers, gifts and suppliers.
